MAHILA SAMITI ACTIVITIES OF THE SAMAJ
We believe that women are the backbone of the society and empowered women can bring a transformational change in the society. At GBS, our approach is to sensitise women to their right capabilities and back them with an enabling environment to progress. The Ladies Wing at GBS has been involved in certain transformational activities.

Dharmik Paryatan Religious Travels
Every shravan and adhik month we organize trips to religious places to enjoy the holy month being closer to God.
Marriage Bureau
A marriage bureau service is provided exclusively for the Brahmin candidates aspiring to get married. This bureau is open on Wednesday’s between 4.30 to 5.30 pm. A matrimonial site is underway.
Navaratri Celebration
Every Navaratri we hold aarti , garba and aarti decoration competition as a part of the nine day celebration.
Summer Camp
we organize a summer camp every year from 1st May to 10th May for children in the age group of 5-10 years. This involves various fun and learning activities for kids such as tree plantation drive, drawing and craft making, picnic talent show, yoga ,magic show etc.
Shri Krishna Janmotsav
SGBS Youth Wing celebrates the birthday of Lord Shri Krishna every Shravan vad Ashtami (August). An elaborate celebration is arranged with dance performances, bhajans, Vasudev-Krishna Leela to which the whole of Ghatkopar is hosted to. It is a mesmerizing aura when devotees chant to the tune of “Nand Gher Anand Bhayo-Jai Kanhaiyalal ki”.
Ganeshotsav
Ganesh, the god of prosperity and wisdom is welcomed to the Samaj Bhavan and stays with us for 3 days from Ganesh Chaturthi. An initiative by Shri Baal Gangadhar Tilak to bring people together and unite has been practised by us for years.
